Why Supporting Your Liver is the Missing Link to Losing Weight

In modern day society, we are living in a chemical bath, and the overload of toxins we are exposed to has exceeded our body's ability to get rid of them.
This toxic overload impairs our liver, thyroid and damages mitochondria (our energy burner.) When these systems are damaged, it prevents us from losing and keeping the weight off.
If our liver is sluggish or impaired, we will have a harder time processing toxins, which will re-circulate in the body, causing more damage.
Toxin overload (either from the environment or bi-products of metabolism) will
disrupt our hormones
damage mitochondria
increase inflammation
trigger the nervous system
slow down metabolic function
impair the thyroid
dysregulate our hunger hormone signals
interfere with weight management systems
If we have problems with our liver, we cannot process and eliminate toxins.
Also, if we're exposed to an overload of toxins (as society is), this overwhelms the liver, and toxins end up stored in our fat cells and go around the body, causing absolute chaos. As we release weight, the toxins are released, creating thyroid, metabolic and further liver issues.
A missing link in most weight protocols is the focus on supporting the liver so that we can clear the garbage and prevent 'toxic weight gain."
The solution?
Reduce exposure to toxins
Improve bodies natural detoxification system (your liver) so that you are efficient at clearing out stored toxins
I'll be sharing so much more on the impact of toxins on our health, how to support your body in detoxifying naturally, and my favorite non toxic living suggestions in my FREE Toxins 101 workshop! Coming January 2023
