What I'm Loving Right Now {Summer Wrap Up}

Here we are, bringing another summer to a close. The kids are back in school, work is in full swing, and we are back in a season of "busy" yet again. So My seasonal favorites are back, this time with the aforementioned in mind! Read on to discover what I loved this summer (favorite brands, products, and practices) that you can carry into ANY season to improve your health, reduce stress, and thrive!
"Talk to me Goose..."
Confession. I haven't been to a movie theater in almost 10 years...until this summer. I unapologetically saw Maverick (Top Gun 2) five times...yes FIVE. But I learned something valuable from my repeated theatre experience...You are only as strong as your team / community / tribe.
Now this can be translated a lot of ways. This could be your immediate family, spouse, coworkers, or community. But the importance of connection and a common goal is crucial in every scenario. Which leads me to the lesson I want to share with you.
With a new season beginning, many people are recommitting to goals, focusing more attention and energy on improving themselves, and bringing balance into every area of their lives. Whether you aspire to lose weight and get healthy, start a business or side hustle, learn a new skill or begin a new daily practice (habit), having connection, support, and accountability will ONLY help ensure your success!
As many downsides as we can agree upon when it comes to social media, there is a huge positive impact it can have too. If you (like many) don't have the understanding of the ones closest to you, I'm here to tell you that you can definitely find "your people" online! I am a true testament to how social media can be used for GOOD and how you can cultivate the most meaningful, powerful relationships. When I first began my health & wellness journey(mental health and personal growth too) years ago, I was able to connect with others at different points on their own respective journey's, who inspired me and offered an incredible foundation of support. The power of community and an aligned way of living is incredibly motivating and enlightening.
That's where the idea of the #SBThriveTribe comes in. I wanted to create a space where people can come to find others on the same path, dealing with the same challenges, overcoming and cheering each other on along the way. A place that people can share helpful information, intended to heal mind, body, & spirit. Somewhere we can share our goals and aspirations of being WELL; creating better for you habits, discovering healing modalities and practices, cultivating healthy families, and celebrating the beauty in personal evolution.

Step It Up
If you live near me (or follow me on social media) you see me out there steppin every day! A daily walk has SO many benefits, mentally and physically, and is one of the simplest ways to improve the quality of your life. From improving cognitive and lymphatic system function, combatting inflammation, decreasing risk of chronic illness, and lessening probability (or severity) of anxiety & depression, walking outdoors is a key component of good health and well-being. With the weather cooling off, there is no better time to add a morning stroll to your routine!

Meals & Markets
I hope everyone took advantage of shopping local, eating organic produce, and getting out and doing something fun by stopping by the local farmer's markets this summer!
