The Best Better For You Cookie Bars

I'm back! After a few months away from the blog, I'm ready to get back in the writing saddle, and what better way to return than with a healthy dessert recipe??


These Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are ah-ma-zingly delicious AND completely free from :

✔️Gluten / grains

✔️Dairy

✔️Sugar (*see how to make them sugar free below)

Making them less inflammatory, less damaging to your gut & brain, and a more natural sweet treat.


The standard recipe calls for coconut sugar BUT I wanted to share my favorite no sugar replacement I use in all my baking ~ Lakanto


I use their monk fruit sugar free sweetener, sugar free chocolate chips, and sugar free maple syrup in almost every recipe in my recipe guides {available in my shop here}


Monk fruit is a safer alternative to white or brown sugar and has been used for thousands of years as a sweetener because of its anti-oxidant properties (anti-aging), anti-inflammatory response (chronic disease prevention), and has no effect on blood sugar or insulin response. Plus it's metabolized differently than regular sugar, so you can reduce your caloric intake by using it.
